On May 27, we welcomed Dr. Begüm Yurdakök Dikmen to our facilities in Caldes de Montbui. She is Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ankara University (Turkey).

Dr. Yurdakök Dikmen specializes in the evaluation of the safety and efficacy of plant-based veterinary products. Her visit represents an important step in strengthening the collaboration initiated between her department and our R&D team.

Both Dr. Yurdakök Dikmen and Álvaro Fernández-Blanco, R&D Director at Phytosolutions, are members of MedPlants4Vets, an international organization that brings together more than 500 collaborators from 53 countries, mainly across Europe.

The aim of this network is to collect, organize and consolidate the scientific knowledge generated over the last 200 years on the use of medicinal plants, in order to promote and strengthen their application in veterinary medicine.
